When it gets close to the quarter starting, no one can use the online system. It kicks you out before you can add, view grades, whatever you need. This puts stress on the telephone system and makes kids wait in line in person when they don't *have* to. Why does this system not work?

BTW I'm talking about the "Page Expired" that happens to almost everyone I know at this time of registration. You sign in, long enough to try to add a class. Then bam, Page Expired.

I've heard a rumor that our district uses the same servers and connections for most things, but specifically important to us, registration. So not only do we have our large student body of ~25,000 but we also have Foothill's decently sized student of body sharing the same system.
Do they have the same registration dates as we do? That would make this rumor more or less relevant to the original question.

I think a handy feature for the new system would be to delete dropped classes from the portal add/drop classes list. Mine got kinda cluttered this quarter.
edit: added a screen shot for illustrative purposes.
